Social Work. Why did I choose this career?

 Hello everyone!

I am a fourth year student of social work. My career began to be taught in two thousand fifteen in University of Chile, because before it was closed in nineteen seventy-three in the period of the Chilean dictatorship. 

The new start has for objective link social work career with social transformation.I did not know which career to choose, but I always wanted to help and protest injustices. I was not sure what to study, but I liked to think about being able to change things, that's why I chose my career.

The first two years at the university were difficult. I did not feel ready because everything was new to my life, then I started to like more this process.

When I was a child I wanted to be a teacher, I really admired my teachers at school, but when I thought which career to choose, I knew I am interested in social studies.

I would like to create a foundation where I would like to be able to teach about different trades in this way open opportunities for social reintegration for those who need it most.
